I did hear they had tweeted but not all people tweet and an on screen apology would be much better

 

I'm not on twitter so didn't see it. Needs a much better apology than a twitter message, something should of been said on screen early doors

Loads of news stories stating they cocked it up in error and their apology though. Sad it happened, but it was just down to a techy pressing the wrong button.

The apology should have been made at half time not buried in Sky's twitter feed ; very poor on their behalf.

You get the feeling that if the mistake had been made during say, the Merseyside derby then things would have panned out differently .

The clubs should make a joint representation to Sky asking for a full apology at the start of the next televised game.
