24-springer   10 #1 Posted November 6, 2011 Anyone happen to know if the big bonfire and fireworks display from about 6pm this evening is free entry as in previous years at Clifton Park?  Obviously the large funfair wont be free, but just wondering if they are asking for money on entry, like with the rip-off After Dark event at Don Valley Bowl that was on last night?  Thanks. iphonelover   10 #2 Posted November 6, 2011 I used to LOVE this! Tell you one thing which rotherham know how to put on above sheffield and thats a show! Bonfire night in clifton park is amazing and used to always be free. Clifton park itself is the best park in south yorkshire by far. Michael_N Â Â 33 #6 Posted November 7, 2011 It's always free of charge, all you have to do is pay for parking, food, drinks and any of the fun-fair rides that are on offer. Was packed to the rafters last night which was pleasing to see. Â The firework display also went on for a considerable amount of time, which was pleasing to see. Just hope RMBC didn't waste too much of peoples money, when it should really be going towards other things, such as maintaing the roads properly and not letting them get into the state that Sheffield's are in!!!
