Can you believe someone said this to me today??

It's like saying Einstein was thick!

I had to remind the reprobate that popular music would sound nothing like it does if The Beatles wouldn't have invented some of the techniques they did such as cutting and paisting, overdubbing and sampling to name a few.

Some people need to think before they open their mouth. There is a difference between not being a fan and saying that they are crap!!

They are very over-idolised, but most people in music acknowledge that their music really does stand up, and they deserves all the praise heaped on them.

I am not a fan of their music ........ but yeah they were very influential

perhaps if I had been a teenager in the sixties I would have been swept away with Beatlemania like everyone else .....

I must admit the world would feel a whole lot emptier without Octopus's Garden, Yellow Submarine and Don't Pass Me By.

And can you dig it, that was just the drummer!

Personally, it's the Nolans for me. They were before their time, make no mistake about that and I cannot wait till the Nolans Convention at Blackpool Winter Gardens in August. Strangely enough, there's room for three more passengers in my Sierra.
