At least I think that is what happened!  I remember Super Car and Fireball XL5, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, UFO, etc. Secret Service was not picked up by Yorkshire TV so I have only seen this on youtube.  Like most lads of my generation, I had all the toys, Lady Penelope's pink Rolls Royce, Thunderbird 2, complete with detachable pod, which housed "The Mole", all the Captain Scarlet cars (SPV, MPV, etc), an interceptor from UFO.  Gerry Anderson was a legend, and as others have said, it really is the end of an era.
