jake   10 #38 Posted February 3, 2013 Did anyone see Celtic Frost at the Lower Refec? It was arranged at really short notice (1 or 2 weeks) and there were only about 150/200 there
 Share this content via...
Rampent   10 #39 Posted February 3, 2013 I'm a Grandad an' still listen to Thrash ....EG: Deicide , Children of Bodom , Amon Amarth ....('Twilight of the Thunder God is my Mobile Ringtone ') ....Even though i've seen loads o' 70's Bands ..EG :Van Der Graaf Generator , Traffic ..Canned Heat , Quo , Lizzy , Purple , Led Zep ... i'm gettin' dafter as i'm gettin' Owder ....  Now that was one well underated band. I saw Lizzy at the City Hall in 1980 (farewell tour ) just when they had that killer line up with John Skyes. He gave them a new power - some of the later recordings with him in went in the direction of pure metal.  Back to brutal . . nobody mentioned Slipknot yet?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC5ecWH8QgM  Opines?
