The Warriors (1979)- Still as good today?

The Warriors is an entertaining film but it does look like the start of a 1980s Michael Jackson video. Like all the 'gangsters' are about to start some choreographed dance routine. La Haine (1995) is quite similar but still stands the test of time IMO.

I've absolutely never made a connection between The Warriors and La Haine.

Whereas the Thriller video comparison is spot on.
