20th Sheffield Scout Group Annual Bonfire and Firework Display

 

Saturday 7th November 2015, S11 7TG (next to Guides OAC).

 

Gates open 7.00pm

Fire Lit 7.15pm

Fireworks 8.00pm

 

Spectacular Firework Display and Bonfire for all the family.

 

Hot Food and refreshments available.

 

Tickets only £3.00 in advance or £4.00 on the gate. Under 5’s free.

Oughtibridge War Memorial Sports Club is proud to present;

 

Firework Spectacular 2015 Special 70th Anniversary of the ending of WWII

 

It is 70 years since the end of WWII and as we are the areas War Memorial, we have worked with our world class display organiser Pyro- vision to create a truly incredible and poignant display. Set to classic British anthems and “last night of the Proms” classics we will have timeless broadcasts from Winston Churchill and Neville Chamberlain, plus a live rendition of the Last Post by award winning Flugel player John Lee. There is also a surprise ending. Plus every adult receives a union flag to waive!

 

The big day’s entertainment includes;

 

● Live Band AK47 at 7PM, with great sound and lights.

● Tasty food including a Pizza oven, fresh coffees and Panini’s, pulled pork, burgers, chips and much more.

● Outside Bar with warm mulled cider, mulled wine, beers and wine.

● Discounted early booking tickets are now on sale at Oughtibridge Kitchens on Langsett Rd, and on the web site, just click on the link below. Please book early as numbers are limited.

Guy Fawkes competition at 6.30pm, Fire lit at 7pm followed by fireworks. Food and refreshments available, including hot dogs, burgers, chilli, jacket potatoes, chocolate apples and parkin. the event fire work display is now even bigger due to a kind donation by batemoor tennants and residents association of which we are truly gratefull,and its great to see community groups working together and we thank there effort ,time and mony,so even more reasons to vsit this free event thank you:):):)

The following are the main bus routes near the Transport Club ground that run up to 11pm at night.

 

In addition there is Hulleys bus M17 that runs until 5pm between Jordanthorpe, Greenhill, Lowedges, Bradway, Totley, Totley Brook and Dore.

 

Stagecoach bus 1 - stops on Bochum Parkway

Batemoor/Jordanthorpe - Norton - Hemsworth - Gleadless Valley - Newfield Green - City - Firth Park - High Green

 

First bus 24 - stops at the Norton and near the Sheffield Park Hotel

(Bradway) - Low Edges - Meadowhead - Woodseats - Heeley - Queens Rd - City - Woodhouse

 

Stagecoach bus 25 - stops by the TA barracks

Bradway - Low Edges - Greenhill Parkway - Meadowhead - Woodseats - Heeley - Queens Rd - City - Woodhouse.

 

Stagecoach bus 43 - stops at the Norton and near the Sheffield Park Hotel

Chesterfield - Unstone - Dronfield Woodhouse - Dronfield - Meadowhead - Woodseats - Heeley - London Rd - City

 

Stagecoach bus 44 - stops at the Norton (also by Sheffield Park Hotel towards Dronfield)

Dronfield Station - Coal Aston - Batemoor/Jordanthorpe - Meadowhead - Woodseats - Heeley - London Rd - City

 

First bus 75 - stops at the Norton

Batemoor/Jordanthorpe - Meadowhead - Woodseats - Abbeydale Rd - London Rd - City - Firth Park - Shiregreen

Clifton Park , Rotherham are holding their annual Fireworks and Bonfire event on Wednesday 4th November. Also massive family fun fair.

Fun Fair open at 5.30pm, bonfire lit 6.30pm, children's firework display 7pm, main fireworks 7.45pm.

Free admission.
