High Storrs   10 #1 Posted October 26, 2011 High Storrs School are holding free IT taster sessions for the elderly, in partnership with UK Online Centres.  Sessions will run at the school every Wednesday afternoon starting on 2 November. For this project, we are looking for elderly learners who are fairly new to IT and would like to learn how to use Word, the Internet, e-mail, or feel more confident using them. Learners will be supported by students and teaching staff.  Sessions are absolutely free, so why not giving it a go and learning about the benefits the internet offers. Each learner is individually supported and is able to learn following online materials at their own speed, so it doesn't matter if you missed the first few sessions.
