alchemist   37 #1 Posted May 22, 2018 I have a couple of fold up bicycles to get rid off. They will need a service but otherwise there is nothing wrong with them.  Does anyone know any charities that might want them and is willing to collect them? I emailed Recycle a couple of months ago and got nothing but ignorance back so there is no point in suggesting them im afraid.  TA
 Share this content via...

There used to be the Bike Project in Burngreave Cemetery Chapel but they moved out a good while ago, don't know if they went somewhere else. When I donated an old bike to Recycle it was fine and they were very grateful and their Bike Kitchen is also very good so I don't know what happened there. Cyclone   10 #4 Posted May 23, 2018 Sell them on ebay, new folding cycles aren't cheap so you can probably get a bit for them. You can always donate the money to charity if you wish.
 Share this content via...

alchemist   37 #6 Posted May 24, 2018 Recycle bikes in Heeley: http://www.recyclebikes.co.uk/donate-a-bike/  As I said ReCycle totally ignored the email I sent them so they are out of the picture. Also, they require you to drop them off and as I have no transport they need to be collected, again, according to the website something they dont do
 Share this content via...
