Contacts on android phone/tablet

Can anyone help me please? I added new contact to my tablet using Gmail and Yahoo. but it doesn't show on my Samsung phones either but it does on my ipad. I'm sure that I have synced everything. If I click on any other contact to send email their name comes up.What have I done wrong? Thanks for any help. Alan.

go to https://contacts.google.com/ - see if the contact shows there...

If it does, then it's a sync issue with the others not downloading the latest info (or not displaying contacts from google)

If it doesn't, then it's a sync issue with the tablet not SENDING the latest info....

Thanks Ghozer for replying, it is showing in the contacts app. I have have checked that everything it set to sync and it is, have you any idea what I could try next? Thanks Alan.

I did add the new contact using my Android tablet so can't understand how it can be on the ipad and not on my Android stuff. Alan.
