Geo-atkinson   10 #4 Posted December 1, 2017 Get yourself a metre long straight edge and a spirit level (or a metre long spirit level) and a ruler . Put the straight edge on the ground with the spirit level attached and lift the lower end until the spirit level bubble is inside the markers. Now measure the distance from bottom of the end of the straight edge that is in the air to the ground. The measurement you have just taken is the gradiant in %. EG 5cm = 5% gradiant. Done.
