barry-333 Â Â 10 #1 Posted August 15, 2018 Well a match of 2 halfs 1st half we should have been dead and buried, Hulls attacks were defended very poorly again Hull could have had 4 goals Second half much better but still no passes on the floor or in the middle. The tactics seem to be use the wings only and high balls into the crowded penalty box on a regular basis and this does not create many goals I can see us getting really hammered when we meet a determined team who wants to win (as with Middlesboro) I just hope that the new signings so far will prove good
 Share this content via...
SomeNextGuy   10 #2 Posted August 15, 2018 It was a very open match, could have finished 4-4.  We hammered them in that second half, hit the bar, cleared off the line, and Leon missed some absolute sitters.  Could do with a striker coming in, and Billy needs to start.  Norwood looked brilliant, really controlled then tempo. Unfortunate about the penalty, but oh well.
 Share this content via...

Antone   10 #4 Posted August 15, 2018 The tactics seem to be use the wingsMaybe. But it's fairly standard tactics to defend by forcing wide, so it could be that we're not succeeding against that and ending up going wide.
 Share this content via...
petcharlie   10 #5 Posted August 15, 2018 Usual failings we can not take our chances .Time for Clarke to have a rest and play our only reliable goal scorer from the start.God knows who will put the ball in when Sharpe retires.Norwood sounds a class act apart from taking Penalties but he can improve our free kicks and corners according to Brighton fans .
