Once again I point out that it was when they were in League one where outside revenue is a lot more limited than in the Championship. United are one of the richest clubs out side the Premiership they have sold youngsters for many millions ,they have large gate receipts and two of the richest men in football at the top ,,one of them being member of the Saudi Royal family and all the oil money that goes with that .
