mslotus   10 #1 Posted June 7, 2018 Does anyone repair them or know someone who does. I've been told it could need a new hard drive. Thanks.
 Share this content via...
Lastnet IT   10 #2 Posted June 7, 2018 The Xbox 360 has a hard drive caddy that just slides out. It's probably far easier and cheaper to just buy a spare caddy/drive off eBay and do it yourself (it's literally as easy as removing it and slotting it back in). Search on eBay for "xbox 360 hard drive". You can get one for about £10.
 Share this content via...
Ghozer   112 #3 Posted June 7, 2018 Depending on which model it is, you can do it yourself, the older ones with the clip-on-top type, you would have to dismantle the unit, take out the old drive, configure a new (compatible) drive (max 250GB), modify it's partition information, boot sector etc to be compatible, then install to the xBox, and allow it to update and install the dashboard..  on the newer Slim and E models, it's a little easier, but there are still only certain makes and models that will work, and up to a maximum size (depending on your console)  your best bet is to spend an hour and have a search on google about upgrading or replacing your SPECIFIC versions hard drive...
