Wednesday v Newcastle

I was surprised that Hooper was the first to be subbed. He had a great first half and the chance he had that hit the bar wasn't as easy as it looked as he had to take it on the full volley. It came too early in the match.

I hope Rhodes didn't have his duck knocked off by starting on the bench, no place for that. He's got serious competition for his place from Fletcher and Winnall and needs to respond to it.

Shelvey is a pearl and will be more than ok in the prem next season.

Hoops looked tired later on, he laboured a bit when the ball was even two yards from him.

He'd done a great job before that though.

His fitness will improve, I'm sure.

Maybe. Wednesday won, so whoever made the decision maybe went with the winning team.

For me, Shelvey looked a class apart to be honest.

Pudil did have an excellent game (and I'm usually not a fan of his so I'm not knocking him) I just wish we had Shelvey.

Who I'd drop for him I don't know, they were all good players yesterday.

I just hope we make Shelvey look a mug next year in the Premier League.

I can live in hope, even though I live in Walkley.
