Cotterill Does Not Like Owls New Pitch

Has Cotterill ever played on dog s@$£ park, Concorde, Greaves park, etc? Then he can complain!

If it makes the ball zip and they can't handle that then that's their problem. My concern about the pitch it that is was visibly marked where our players had been warming up in lines. I don't know whether that was just some weird effect of the sun hitting it or whether it was actually being worn away.

 

Could be the light bouncing off the fake grass mate, what you will notice, from certain angles, is when the ball bounces on the pitch, it leaves a sort of shadow for a split second, until the grass bounces back up. I think it depends on where you sit as to how often you see it. Nothing to worry about I am sure.

It did look patchy from the highlights I saw, I'm sure given a few more weeks it'll come good. We've had a couple of weeks without a game on it at the Lane so (touch wood) ours should be ok come Saturday.

Could be a lot happier soon according to this. Crystal Palace have accepted an offer from Bristol City for striker Dwight Gayle, according to Sky sources.

 

It is understood the deal is worth £6m, but could rise to as much as £8m with incentives that have been included in the bid.
