From the author of Noises Off and Donkeys Years comes another classic comedy presented by The Dilys Guite Players

Set in a provincial newspaper office - and its another day of chaos in the cuttings library. Files all over the floor, phones left ringing. And where is Lucy, the librarian? Her life (when she finally arrives), and the lives of the journalists who take refuge in her muddled retreat, turn out to be as confused as the library itself. Into this comfortable little world steps Leslie, Lucy's new assistant. She is young, bright, and she wants system and order. She wants things to change! But will it be better or will it be worse?

Directed By John Craig

Just a word of praise for the Lantern.

We watched this production last night and thourougly enjoyed it .

Since discovering the Lantern we have not beeen disappointed in any of the plays we have seen.

Also it is nice to meet courteous and friendly backroom staff.

They even sell good beer .

Thank you Thorpist, I'm really glad you enjoyed the show. :D We had some really great feedback from the audiences this week. Having been on stage for this one myself it really makes all the hard work worth it!

We're putting a list together for next seasons shows so we hope to see you again very soon!

...and yes, the beer is very good, sampled quite a lot of Rampant Gryphon last night myself. ;)
