Song of the south - 1946

Recommended Posts

I just found an NTSC VHS copy of this movie from the UK last week and I ordered it......

WHAT IS SO "HIGHLY OFFENSIVE" AS DISNEY SAYS???

WHAT A GORGEOUS MOVIE...... Screw them and thier stupid views and trying to keep things from people!! (This movie is no worse then GONE WITH THE WIND and certainly no worse than BLAZING SADDLES)

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT!!!!!!!

The UK company did a direct copy from the PAL tape to an NTSC machine so there is no speedup........ The audio is slighly lower as you'd expect with a copy but its beautiful.... Looks exactly as im sure it does on the PAL tape!!

Its a wonderful film...... Alot of songs and stories I have heard!!!!

SCREW THE USA AND THIER STUPID VIEWS!!!!!!

I remember going to see this at the cinema with my folks. It was in the 70's, I would have been 8 or 9. It was at the ABC on Angel Street & the film was shown as part of a double feature with a cartoon. I remember it was the first film I'd seen with real people mixed with animation, thought the whole thing was brilliant! Going to be singing 'zipa dee doo dah' for the rest of the day now!!

Yes its fabulous!!!!!!!!

Im glad they did it the way they did.... I wouldnt have liked it if it was faster! (They did that to the terminator (first analogue release (1984)) on VHS .... Used the PAL master and didnt do a straight copy from PAL to NTSC and its too fast in NTSC (Garbage))
