GreyhoundMum   10 #1 Posted May 25, 2018 We are considering switching our pets to this vets and I was wondering if anyone on here uses them and could provide an independent recommendation or not as the case may be?  We're open to other vets as for one reason and another we are dissatisfied with the service provided by the current vets that we use. Happy to consider any suggestions but they MUST provide their own out of hours service.  Thanks in advance
 Share this content via...
teeny   10 #2 Posted May 25, 2018 Peak vets do all their own on call cover , they are in Woodseats , I use them both for my business and personal use for my own pets , I have been with them since they opened . I have always been happy with service . many of my customers also use them happily. Some of their customers travel from the north of sheffield and even the boarders of Mansfield, which speaks for itself as to how good they are . vwkittie   10 #3 Posted May 25, 2018 I use Abbey as they have several branches and their own 24 hour service out of Barnsley, which we have had to use once for an emergency and also use for other things like buying wormers on a weekend, very handy.  The Retired Greyhounds use them so they always have hounds in and are hound experienced which is also important to us for our lurcher.  Obviously less useful if you're not based oop north
 Share this content via...

willman   10 #5 Posted May 25, 2018 My parents use Springfield and are always happy with the service they get.  There is also a mobile vet based in Killamarsh, that could be worth considering for emergencies. My parents are again considering using them as they become less able to get around etc.  ---------- Post added 25-05-2018 at 18:26 ----------  We have started using Ark in Killamarsh, who have emergency cover, with our new rescue dogs.
