Wendeline 10 #1 Posted December 5, 2017 My name is Wendeline Roest-Lovers. I work as a nurse in a nursinghome in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Mrs Röring-Sadler lives in our nursinghome. She is 93 years old and has the early stage dementia. Mrs. Röring-Sadler was born in Sheffield. She lived on bushy wood road. Probably at number 66. Her father was a tailor. Because she is increasingly going back in time, I am looking for all kinds of information that may apply to her. She certainly lived in Sheffield until 1942. As a little girl she was on st. Georges school. Mrs. Röring - Sadler does not know if there are any family or friends in live. Her marriage unfortunately remained childless. Maybe there are very old photos on which she stands. Or are there pictures of the house with the tailor's shop? And how beautiful it would be if I could find people who knew her by this way ... never say never... This is some information I have got from Sheffield History on facebook: Margaret L Sadler Mother's Maiden Surname: Poole Date of Registration: Apr-May-Jun 1924 Registration district: Sheffield Inferred County: Yorkshire Volume Number: 9c Page Number: 897 I know that this is probably her father: SADLER, Alfred Edward (~, Tailor). Address: 8 Howard Street; h. 42 Hastilar Road, Intake, ~ in 1925. Recorded in: Sheffield & Rotherham Kelly?s Directory. And her Mother: Her mother .. Edith Alice Poole 1891–1942 BIRTH MARCH 1891 DEATH 1942 • Nottinghamshire County, England, I am very grateful for all information. abbeyedges 82 #3 Posted December 6, 2017 Similarly I'm unable to help directly. If you go to the Picture Sheffield site and search 'St. George's school' - there are 19 images available to view. Bushey Wood Road is in the Totley / Dore area of the city. I hope Sheffield via this forum can help you and this lady. Come on Sheffield let's do our best.
