Retail park computer store name 1990s?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Does anyone know the name of the computer store that used to be in the top right corner of Meadowhall Retail Park back in the 1990s. I recall it been there around 1994-1996?

More specifically does anyone know of the finance company they used to use?

Thanks

I was thinking it was Tiny Computer?

In which case it would have been Lombard Tricity Finance

Those don't ring a bell. I remember getting my first pc from there. Was an AST pc.

Lombard tricity I remember rumbellows using but thought this PC store used something different.

i can only remember Time computers.

i remember tiny computers too in meadowhall. going in with my dad looking at the machines and he ordered a package costing around £1,000 which came with a decent software library, printer, scanner and digital camera, a whole 1.3 megapixels :hihi:

i still have like a leaflet somewhere for tiny computers showing all the different options.

Just found this interesting thread:

Time Computers is now TimeUK: http://www.timeuk.com/ with an empty website since 2013!

and this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte_(retailer) - don't attempt to visit the site stated in this article as it gets a danger warning from Firefox!
