It'd be amazingly bad luck that they sent you a faulty motherboard and CPU in the first order.

:confused:yes i no iv gone bold after all this stress. they tested the mb and sed its works fine so iv been and bought a new psu thinking its that and still having the same issue.

What issues are you having with it? May sound silly but have you made sure your graphics card has the power cables plugged into it? What exactly is happening when you try to power it up?

i haven't even connected my graphics card so its not that lol. the fans spin for 5 secs then stop. when i first tryed the warning light come up meaning cpu error for like 30 secs. it it dosent come on now at all

Have you got a fan connected to the CPU fan header? My motherboard refuses to boot if it can't detect a fan spinning for the processor.

Also, if all your ram slots aren't filled, have you tried swapping them over?

yes fan is connected i have tried different ram slots still the same
