Is apple macbook better than windows

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of getting an Apple McBook osx 10.4 tiger from a mate who has bought a new laptop he wants £150 for the machine and he has set it to Factory refit .

Is it a better system than windows xp or 7 and is it easy to use.

Best bet would be to go to an Apple shop and play with a machine there, you can also get the staff to take you through it.

I think for the technophobe or people that just arent into computers then Applemacs offer an easier user interface. If it gets you on the net and has the programs you use ms office etc then go for it. Cant he just let you borrow it for a day or a few hours?

I dont have a problem with windows, prefer the wider software range and cheaper prices for hardware.

Well from what I can see the £150 price tag is not bad and I like a challenge so if comments on here are positive I will go for it.

I cant see that he wont allow you a quick play with it. Connect to the internet and see if it feels ok. The OS is nice and logical which is why people like them.

No idea on prices so check ebay for what they sell at.
