keeley234   10 #1 Posted April 25, 2018 Beautiful Olivia is the Granddaughter of Blades legend Tony Currie. Sadly she was diagnosed with a brain tumour which has caused Olivia to lose most of her eye sight. Unfortunately due to the size & position of the tumour, it is currently inoperable and the only treatment available is 20months of chemotherapy with many side effects. Olivia may be able to have proton beam therapy when she old enough. Both Olivia's parents still have to work to pay their mortgage etc and want to keep Olivia at home where she is comfortable and where she is loved. Therefore we are hosting a charity event to help raise funds to help Olivia and her family, The money will go towards saving for future treatment options that may not be available on the NHS and also help with hospital and travel expenses, educational support, music and sensory experiences and providing full time care for Olivia.  The charity event will take place on Sat 19th May at The Barrel Inn, London Rd. Day time entertainment will start about 2pm with a BBQ, Bingo and games.  The evening entertainment will start about 7.30pm and will be TICKETS ONLY - £2 EACH.
