Stannyboy   10 #1 Posted October 13, 2018 does anyone know how/where i could go to to highlight the fact that we are having 'after build' problems with the builder we used for our extension. Weve paid the the works but are currently trying to get hold of him to install our downstairs toilet and trying to get hold him is a joke and people need to know that he has terrible after sales service..plus i spoke to a neighbour last night whom i got the builder contact details from and they experienced after sales problems too and also struggled to get hold of the builder... this guy is getting away with it and this need sorting before he rips more people off...do we not have rights as customers these days...? Jim Hardie   524 #4 Posted October 13, 2018 You paid in full before the actual job was complete?  He's hardly the first to do so is he? I'd be more annoyed about the neighbour's failure to mark his card.
 Share this content via...

dan2802 Â Â 53 #7 Posted October 18, 2018 As someone who works in the construction industry, I always ensure the customer is in credit until they are completely satisfied with the work we have done. If you've paid up before the work is complete you really only have yourself to blame. There are a lot of rogues out there. CAB or legal advice is now your only option.
