garethe   10 #1 Posted April 27, 2015 Date / Time - 19th May 2015 - 9pm (after single session of Badminton)  SFBC AGM and call for committee nominations  The SFBC AGM is an opportunity to review the club's activities over the previous year and get ideas on how we want the club to be run over the next 12 months. Attending the AGM will also entitle you to a free session of badminton.  At each AGM, a committee is appointed to run the club for the following 12 months.  The current committee is:  Chairman: Gareth Evans Secretary: Jen Foster Treasurer: Tom McCaig  The current committee are prepared to continue in their roles for the next year. However, we feel that the committee needs to expand as there is now a considerable amount of work for three people.  We are looking for additional committee members to support club, league and social activities. We are proposing a new committee structure to be voted on at the AGM with a chairman;treasurer; bookings secretary; social secretary; club secretary and each of the league team captains.  Anyone is welcome to nominate themselves or another person (with their permission) to stand for any committee post. The closing date for nominations is 8 May. A vote will be then held on the nominations at the AGM. Please send nominations to sfbc@live.co.uk  AGM agenda, 19 May 2015, Ponds Forge  1. Apologies.  2. Approval of 2014 AGM minutes.  3. Chairman's report.  4. League team reports.  5. Financial report.  6. Explanation of new committee structure and vote.  7. Vote on committee members.  8. Sheffield Badminton agenda items for comment.  9. AOB.
 Share this content via...
AmIWill   10 #2 Posted May 21, 2015 Hi Gareth,  Just wanted to say thanks to the existing committee for all their help, support and time this past year and in advance of going forward to the next 12 months.  Also to ask is it possible to publish and/or distribute the minutes of the AGM when convenient? Just wanted to double check the agreed actions as well as date(s) of next/follow-up meeting.  Kind regards, Will
 Share this content via...
