'A Midsummer Night's Dream', 6th & 7th July, Crucible Theatre

Recommended Posts

High Storrs School proudly presents its production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by William Shakespeare. The play will be staged at the Crucible Theatre on Friday 6th (evening) and Saturday 7th July (matinee and evening performance), as part of Sheffield Children’s Festival.

High Storrs, which has a double specialism in Performing Arts and Mathematics and Computing, is hoping to repeat its fantastic success from last year, when its production of ‘Billy Elliot: The Musical’ was a hit with audiences of all ages.

‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ is a story of unrequited love, jealous lovers and love potions that will capture your imagination. Although the play was written over four hundred years ago, High Storrs School’s production will bring a thoroughly modern twist to it, with some fantastic dancing routines and a 1970s setting.

Tickets are now on sale at Sheffield Theatres Box Office priced at £6 and £8. Get yours early to avoid any disappointment!
