itp305 Â Â 10 #97 Posted July 4, 2014 I am looking for a garage or some organisation to treat the underside of my car. I want it checking for corrosion, treated and sealed with a waxoyl type protective sealant. Any one know of a local company who do this????? boringal   10 #100 Posted December 15, 2015 Yeah the times I have thought the same thing. I do have a garage with light and power at the side of the house, but like all garages it is narrow and I can't jack from the side. Plus, a pit or a ramp would make life so much easier.  I hope someone replies with info on this, I have even thought of looking into the possibility of starting something myself, I reckon there would be a good demand from DIYers and classic car enthusiasts etc. Perhaps someone can give a legal opinion on the possibility.  hi, i can help you all, i own the DIY Garage in sheffield town centre, you can hire it by the hour, you get to use a ramp and a fully equipped garage with all the tools you can think of, 50 tonne press tyre machines balancer, laser tracker, transmition stands, snapon spanners and sockets, and lots more, my number is 01144 388188, to book in or have a chat, if youd like to nip in to have a look im on Earl st just of the moor, hope this helps you all
 Share this content via...

Yorkshire 53 Â Â 10 #103 Posted June 20, 2017 When I posted that new thread about re-making classic cars ( 19.6.2017), I put it on 'General Discussions', but it's been correctly placed on this site which I never knew existed. Is putting items for sale permitted on here ? Thanks.
 Share this content via...

Dave_G Â Â 10 #105 Posted February 1, 2018 I've just joined and am a bit of a car nut so thought I would post. Currently got: Â Focus RS (Mk1 2003) Fiesta RS Turbo (currently in bits) Fiesta Si (Mk3 1995) Â What is the local meet situation? Any decent events? Â Also really stuck for parking currently, just had the Si resprayed but it is parallel parked and I really want to get it off the road. Any suggestions would be gladly received! Raimondo   0 #106 Posted November 15, 2019 Hello all classic vehicle owners and enthusiasts.  I have just joined this forum which I found whilst looking for information regarding my latest purchase which is a Starcraft camper based on a 1972 Ford Cortina MK3 and seeing there was a classic car group here decided to join it. I also have another car, a 1958 Ford 100E Anglia.  I have found a number of posts in the forums relating to Starcraft campers but most of them are quite old and possibly not lokked at anymore by those who posted them. If anyone knows of any owners of these or possibly owns one themselves please get in touch as I have masses of history I could possibly share.  Cheers,                         Ray.
