beanz   10 #2 Posted December 20, 2008 This was taken from Sheffield star web site but here is what happened :  Meanwhile in Dalton, Rotherham, a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a blue Land Rover Discovery in Doncaster Road just after 6pm. The 38-year-old man is being treated in hospital for serious head and spinal injuries and two broken legs. The road reopened shortly after 8pm after wreckage was cleared.
