Grahamfff   10 #1 Posted October 13, 2018 I'm using Microsoft Remote Desktop on my Mac at home to access my work PC.  I've done something so that the icons on the desktop are huge and I can only see part of the desktop. I can't work out how to put it back - can anyone help?  Thanks
 Share this content via...
The Joker   10 #2 Posted October 13, 2018 (edited) I’m not in front of me Mac at the moment so I can’t confirm, but I’m sure there’s a menu option the Remote Desktop client on the Mac side to set the remote resolution of the Windows PC.  Have a look there and see if the resolution is set really low.  Failing that, version 10 of the RDP client is buggy; it always beachballs on me when I quit the app.  I prefer version 8 of the RDP client, but Microsoft don’t want me using that one for much longer Edited October 13, 2018 by The Joker
 Share this content via...
Ghozer   112 #3 Posted October 13, 2018 Check the settings at your end (on your Mac) that the "remote resolution" is set correctly, being low (640x480 for example) will make everything look big
 Share this content via...
alchresearch   213 #4 Posted October 15, 2018 If the method of access is an RDP file you can edit it in a text editor and alter settings.
 Share this content via...
