Replying on Facebook

When on Facebook and I try to reply or answer something and I type in the words Holme Lane (for instance), then everyone on Facebook that has the name Holme or Lane pops ups instead of what I wanted to write and it takes ages to erase it. Dell say it's a Facebook problem and I contacted Facebook helpdesk by email twice and after four days am still awaiting an answer.

Tried ESC several times but names came back three seconds later. Thanks for your suggestion tho'.

Press space after the name, it goes away. Just don't click the name

Yes tried that but to no avail. Thank you for your reply and I wonder why I have this problem only on Facebook.

It’s a Facebook “feature”, Nothing to do with Dell or anyone else. As above, if you just keep typing, the names pop up should automatically disappear.
