Any tips for an assessment home visit?

Do they look round your house as well?

Do they medically examine you?

How long does it take?

Any tips and advice would be grateful.

Be prepared, with what you need to tell them about your disability, No they will not want to look around your house, no, there is no examination, 30/40 minutes.

Don't go out of your way, no tea and biscuits, your disabled, got it?

Yes, that is what I have arranged.

I must admit, I'm surprised they don't even examine you, as one assessment I had years ago, wanted to check the base of my spine, and he called a witness in when doing this.
