yorky15 Â Â 10 #1 Posted December 20, 2014 The Sheffield Cathedral, what a fantastic building that is! Just by chance I visited the Cathedral this week and had a really good look around. It has been under a fantastic renovation since I last called in. It demonstrates the history of Sheffield from the 11th century to the present day in a very informative way from the time of the Norman baron William de Lovetot to the present day. Well worth a visit.
 Share this content via...
Nagel   10 #2 Posted December 21, 2014 It's a nice church, but hardly one of the great cathedrals of Britain as Sheffield was an unimportant place up till the industrial revolution. For most of its life it was the parish church.  The Roman Catholic cathedral on Norfolk Street is worth a look too.
 Share this content via...
