Google paranormal x. He’s a YouTuber who dose a lot of ghost hunting videos in and around Sheffield. He’s done loads on the stocksbridge bypass. The last time he was up there videoing was Saturday evening..

I have drove down there and not seen anything yet I have read about monks and children been seen. My interest from very early on has been Wentworth woodhouse. To explore them grounds that would be a dream come true. Sorry about the delay, busy at work.

No not yet ,plenty of vivid imaginations though.Trillions have died but not one has come back to let us know anything, that's the real truth.

Why is it that people who already believe in ghosts keep on seeing them...whilst those that don't never do?

I can think of one reason......

I wouldn't mind seeing Frank Sinatra thoughh. Frank, if you're out there- why not pay a visit to the Stocksbridge bypass and knock out a bit of 'my way' for us all?

When I saw my first ever ghost I was 5 and didn`t really understand much about ghosts, it is just a memory. Growing up I kept seeing weird things, I didn`t go looking for them it just happened. We rationalise a lot of things, that cant have happened I was tired, was it my imagination I didn`t hear that. Maybe I was still a little asleep. I don't see things every day but it happens, you think OMG. When I have had kids it picked up again. That doesn`t mean I am endorsing you to go and have kids to see one but young kids often attract attention, somethimes by ones who are no longer alive. Hope that helps.

A little post from a truck driver that has been up and down the by-pass since it was constructed several times a day, and at ALL times of the day and night. And who had to drive over the "haunted" bridge coming and going to work. I have looked tens of thousands of times for any sign of some kind of spectre, but alas non were seen. Deer, Fox, Rabbit and Badger in abundance, but nothing else.

I did a Google Earth 'virtual' tour of the bridge and the road leading away from the bridge, Pylon on my left as I headed up that narrow road, heading away from the town.

 

There is a 'farm' ? on the left with the creepiest looking barn/shed I've ever seen. Must be hundreds of years old.

 

I reckon the monk lives in that old barn !

 

I also noticed the 'Sold' sign. Is that the same place you guys are talking about ? Be worth a few quid I would imagine.

I’m sure Google Earth is a year old on street view is the farm house still got sold sign outside ?

Never seen the appeal in Frank Sinatra and certainly wouldnt want to drive along the Stockbridge bypass and see the old crooner knocking one out
