sarah1977 Â Â 10 #73 Posted June 21, 2015 I like All Siam. Not the cheapest, but always great food.
 Share this content via...
jemson   10 #74 Posted June 22, 2015 We went to Top Thai yesterday for a family meal and it was really good. Everyone was happy with the food and they treated us really well. Surprised how quiet it was though.
 Share this content via...
bungleboy69 Â Â 98 #75 Posted June 22, 2015 We went to Top Thai last night. We were the only people in too. Really surprising given the quality of the food. The service was very good as usual and the staff are very friendly.
 Share this content via...

bungleboy69 Â Â 98 #77 Posted June 25, 2015 Thai Orchid- Very good value for money. Â I think Orchid is the worst Thai restaurant in Sheffield... The food is quite bland and doesn't taste fresh...
 Share this content via...

Jeddo   10 #80 Posted August 1, 2016 Shouldn't be telling you this - it's hard enough getting a table as it is, but my favourite Thai restaurant in Sheffield is ALL SIAM on Ecclesall Road near the bus stop at Hunters Bar.  NOTE: There are two Thai restaurants very near to each other. It is NOT the one near The Well church, Patoo something. That one has very limited choice ( Patoo thing) and quality is no better than a poor Chinese takeaway. Shocking service too, they don't understand English. Place is always empty, and very dark inside. Don't believe the Awards boasted outside.  All Siam is further along nearer to Hunters Bar. Massive choice, all fantastic. You can't get a table on Saturday unless you book in advance. Booking is best during week too. Gorgeous wait staff, efficient and trad Thai behaviour.  Super fresh dishes, swiftly cooked and highly decorated with carved veg on Thai patterned plates, massive enough not to skimp on actual food. Batter always thin and crispy. Superb ice cream afterward - Real pistachio, real chocolate, probably sourced from some specialist local dairy. Rich and creamy.  12 people plus tables no problem..  Recommend: Sea bass in tamarind and chillie sauce Chicken in sweet and sour sauce incl lychees All Thai curries are rich and creamy King prawns and vegetables in a sauce with ginko nuts and cashew nuts Massaman curry  Could go on... I went once and found this place far too cramped and that fact alone puts me off ever going there.  We went to Bahn/Ban/Baan Thai recently and found the service, food and general feel of the place has taken a nosedive. Maybe it's new management but it felt like they weren't bothered any more. Such a shame.  We'll have to try all the others again now. gNil   10 #82 Posted December 7, 2016 Looks unfortunately like Top Thai is gone - shutters down and a To Let sign outside. Does anyone know whether they've moved on or just closed?
 Share this content via...
