jemson   10 #5 Posted August 20, 2014 Many thanks. ---------- Post added 19-08-2014 at 15:24 ----------  Is this considered a fast course?  It is quick, yes. Bit of a hill at end but is `Sheffield flat`at least.
 Share this content via...

PeteM01 Â Â 10 #8 Posted September 6, 2014 Percy Pud entries can now be made online, if you haven't already entered! http://www.steelcitystriders.co.uk/
 Share this content via...
taratibu   10 #9 Posted September 8, 2014 The race is already sold out! All 2000 places went in under 48 hours. I tried to sign up this morning and they had already gone. If any of the lucky (or at least better organised than me) entrants can't do this for any reason and are willing to transfer their place, please let me know. thanks
 Share this content via...

jemson   10 #11 Posted September 11, 2014 I do find it bemusing that this race sells out so quick. It`s nowt special IMHO and does so well because it has a reputation for being a quick seller (so lots of folk `panic enter`) and it shows that our area doesn`t have that many good races. It's local, run by the local running club, relatively flat and on a reasonably nice course, I.e.not like the great Yorkshire run. The other local one is the ten-ten-ten, but the paths are a little narrow and so things get very congested , so the Percy pud is still my favorite.
