Composite doors - all the same ?

Hi,

Currently have a brown composite door, which is still sound but is now badly faded, so before I replace I wondered if anyone knew how much of a difference in quality there is in this type of door, and do you get much better by paying more ?

Can't you paint it?

They're not cheap to replace, especially if the only issue is faded colouring.

Thanks for the suggestion, was actually told there was a company that sprays them but no luck in finding them yet ....

Seems like a simple DIY job?

Neighbour had same problem ,council came out and painted it ,looks as good as new again now

Maybe specialist paint ?

Can be painted, with a good external primer and an external gloss paint. Finish will ne proportional to your skill

Many thanks for your thoughts and the link, I have PM'ed the person who sprayed doors to see if they are still trading.

These guys spray composite doors amongst other things.
