Brush Strokes - TV series

Hello I was wondering if anyone else on here has ever or watches the tv series 'Brush Strokes' that has been shown some evenings recently it is quite old it ran from 86 - 91' I hadn't heard of it before an I think its really good about a painter Jacko

I remember watching it as a kid. The main character was played by Karl Howman, hes in Eastenders at the moment, looking slightly older

Dexys midnight runners did the theme tune if memory serves.

I looked it up on YouTube not long ago for nostalgia. Its one of those programmes that isn't as good as you remember, ditto with Supergran.

I remember it being crap when I watched a bit of one back in the late 1980s.

Goodnight Sweetheart, Terry and June, Sorry! and To The Manor Born were all similarly as funny as a dose of the crabs.

In fact I thought a lot of situation comedies were just rubbish and unfunny.
