It closed though, so I guess it couldn't cover the rent.

crucible corner is open late - as opens after theatre closed - and does a decent coffee. How late are you talking though? Sheff is a bit limited for this... which considering the international flavours is a bit odd...

best one ever was G G's near the wicker. you could get a reasonably priced beef dinner including mash and pudding and custard at 2am ! fantastic especially for dj's, bands and entertainers etc.

i used to get my pudding boxed and take it home.

i think high rents, rates, takeaways and pissheads have killed off late night sit-in cafes.

there used to be one in rotherham market in the late 70's early 80's. knicklerbocker glory's at 4am !

brilliant!

I would recommend la Perle on Wicker, great coffee and lovely cakes, plus serves hot food too. Not sure what time open till but I have been in past 10.

Wetherspoons? The ben huntsman in town doesn't play music :)

Nothing worse than people ordering coffees in a busy pub, it takes ten times as long to serve them.

Want a coffee, go to a coffee shop.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any other Late Night cafes/coffee shops that have opened, in the year or so since the last post to this?
