Expect beautiful ballads right through to burning Be-Bop; meaningful Mainstream to mad Modal; furious Funk to the frightfully Free; lively Latin to luscious Lounge; and classic Cool through to the curiously Contemporary!  8.30pm, free entry.  Wednesday 8th November: Quiz Night The highly irreverent Quiz is every Wednesday at The White. Hosted by the inimitable Mr Bling, you and your team must overcome 3 rounds of general knowledge, an audio round and a picture round in order to claim the prize.  Throw into the mix some random challenges, spot prizes, lashings of real ale and a completely free buffet with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options and you're onto a winner.  9pm, 50p entry Thursday 9th Novemberr: Jam Night Hosted by Sheffield legend Chris Firminger and backed by his regular house band The TwoJays, this evening provides a platform for musicians from all over Sheffield and further afield.  Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more.  Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in.  8.30pm, free entry  Friday 10th November: Seventh Son Seventh Son were originally a NWOBHM band formed in 1980 but gradually the band have evolved throughout their 35 plus year history.  They now play what they consider to be intelligent heavy metal that still takes a leaning towards classic rock. Influences now come from the tastes of all members of the band and they have developed a heavier style that retains melodic quality and a more modern sound than their early work.  A small and intimate gig for a band of their stature, do not miss out.  9.30pm, free entry.  Saturday 11th November: Fahrenheit Born from the urge to play something different, yet instantly recognisable, their aim isn't to keep the audience waiting for what they want hear until the end of the night but to hit them with the anthems from the word go.  Fahrenheit are a power trio bringing you tunes from The Police, Terrorvision, Madness, The Clash, Pulp, Cheap Trick, The Cult plus many more  9.30pm, free entry.  Sunday 12th November: The Sunday Jam Hosted by The Carnival, the Sunday afternoon rock jam is back once again - 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
