horribleblob   212 #7993 Posted November 12, 2017 Oh deffinitely do and then 'whats going on' by marvin gaye another talented man sadly not with us  Excellent track, Snooker, and the whole 'What's Going On' album is one of those that, imo, is a cohesive piece of work that is best listened to in the original track sequence, from start to finish.  My favourite early Marvin Gaye track is 'Ain't That Peculiar':  "Honey, you do me wrong but still I'm crazy 'bout you Stay away too long and I can't do without you" ...  His delivery of those first two lines gets me every time. Incredibly the vocals and lead guitar are all from the then 16 year old Lang.
