RiffRaff   10 #1 Posted October 12, 2017 More or less overnight, literally hundreds of mushrooms - toadstools? - have sprung up all over the lawn. Lived here for over 15 years, and have never experienced it before. I've resisted giving the grass a (final?) cut for fear of spreading the damn things...am I correct in doing so? The only major thing that's happened during the summer is that I had two large trees crowned/topped....other than that, a couple of new acers in pots and the usual hanging basket type things, so nothing particularly different/exciting.... punkin   10 #4 Posted October 13, 2017 Apparently mushrooms/toadstools help plants feed from the soil more efficiently, therefore is not such a bad thing having them in the garden.
