PeteM01 Â Â 10 #73 Posted September 3, 2018 Always liked the Canton orchard, but not been for ages now. Heard a rumour it was shut down? Drive past every day and can't say I have noticed any lights on. Â Â It was still open a couple of months ago. The owner is a highly entertaining chap who can always be relied on to recommend some excellent wines.
 Share this content via...
GinTreeS7 Â Â 18 #74 Posted September 3, 2018 Used to go to the Wong Ting retaurant just off the Moor for years, the food was ample and the waiting staff were friendly and occasionally funny. Â However last time I popped in there with a friend 12 months ago, it seemed packed with just Chinese people. Has it moved in stype from being European-Chinese ot just Chinese ? Â If so less choice of places now for us Brits. Â Sorry I'm not into chickens feet, cows stomachs, snakes etc. :S
 Share this content via...

The food as usual was good. Didn't recall any chicken feet on the large menu, then again we weren't looking for them.  Surely when you go to a Chinese restaurant you expect Chinese food & Chinese food oddities?  If you want British food with British people, stick to Wetherspoons. Always a great, witty man. I suddenly fancy a slap up Chinese feast.....
 Share this content via...
