Expect beautiful ballads right through to burning Be-Bop; meaningful Mainstream to mad Modal; furious Funk to the frightfully Free; lively Latin to luscious Lounge; and classic Cool through to the curiously Contemporary!  8.30pm, free entry.  Tuesday 17th October: The Lowdown Acoustic Session The renowned acoustic session hosted by Rob Lowdon, of Treebeard, Jabberwocky and a performer in his own right, this gentle evening of acoustic music is open to all to listen, watch or join in.  8.30pm, free entry.  Wednesday 18th October: Quiz Night The highly irreverent Quiz is every Wednesday at The White. Hosted by the inimitable Mr Bling, you and your team must overcome 3 rounds of general knowledge, an audio round and a picture round in order to claim the prize.  Throw into the mix some random challenges, spot prizes, lashings of real ale and a completely free buffet with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options and you're onto a winner.  9pm, 50p entry Thursday 19th October: Jam Night Hosted by Sheffield legend Chris Firminger and backed by his regular house band The TwoJays, this evening provides a platform for musicians from all over Sheffield and further afield.  Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more.  Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in.  8.30pm, free entry  Friday 20th October: One Drop From the boot stompers to the skankers to the big time classics, One Drop bring the very best of two-tone, ska, reggae and rocksteady with their own unique twist.  Something different for your Friday night  9.30pm, free entry  Saturday 21st October: The Gav Coulson Group Highly acclaimed and truly talented musician Gav Coulson brings his group on Saturday night to showcase some amazing blues rock. All your favourites and some forgotten gems from Hendrix, Bonnamassa, Gary Moore, Led Zep and more.  9.30pm, free entry.  Sunday 22nd October: The Sunday Jam Hosted by The Carnival, the Sunday afternoon rock jam is back once again - 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
