carosio 186 #1 Posted November 6, 2018 Friend asked me to sort his iphone 5S and load a PAYGo sim. Apparently it's had a full re-set. It appears to be (second phone) unlocked. 1. fitted a Giffgaff £1 card, registered it but not paid the fee (£5) as yet. 2. phone starts and shows signal bars and 4G. 3. asks to choose wi-fi or mobile connection. 4. wont link to talktalk wi-fi despite different passwords etc. 5. Ghozer 112 #2 Posted November 6, 2018 Wifi, you're probably just entering the password wrong, the iPhone sometimes auto capitalises the first letter, so make sure that's correct... as for activating through mobile connection, it's because you haven't topped it up yet.... The minutes are now active, and the first letter of the password appears in small case. I can access my router with the password I am using.
