MAC33 Â Â 10 #4 Posted June 4, 2017 It's mostly all about money these days and Real Madrid have tons thanks to the gerrymandering of the TV rights in Spain. Â Bale,Pepe,Rodrigez and Morata all on the bench or not even in the squad - says it all. Â Zidane is being lauded as a master coach, though it's pretty easy when your reserve team could probably get close to challenging for the EPL. Â Just like in Scotland where Brendan Rodgers has the best players by far. Â I mean throwing darts at a dartboard to decide player selections would still see Celtic walk away with the SPL by at least 20 points next season. MAC33 Â Â 10 #6 Posted June 4, 2017 (edited) English clubs have the most money by far! Â In Spain,it's the top two that take nearly all the TV money, the other 16 clubs are like part time poor by comparison. Â Then you have the attraction of the name, the sunshine and the realistic chance every year of playing in the latter stages of the CL. Â Surely though it's just a matter of time before English clubs with their bigger budget dominate Eurpoean Football. Â Last year Leicester received around 90 million pounds for winning the EPL. Â This year Sunderland finished last and received (93 million pounds) more than the previous year champions. Chelsea received 157 million pounds as winners. Â Only the Chinese League can potentially compete on a financial footing. Â The EPL is a played in England - but it's about as English as Kangaroo. Â It's worldwide following is amazing. Probably more popular than all the other leagues combined. Edited June 4, 2017 by MAC33
 Share this content via...

hobinfoot   25 #8 Posted June 5, 2017 Modric was the best player on the pitch in the final. And in my opinion RM have probably got the best player there has ever been in Ronaldo.
 Share this content via...
