Old CDs

Recommended Posts

Are you sick of all those useless CDs you have kicking about ?.

You kno the ones I mean, the ones they push into computer magazines, and all the AOL ones you get.

Well dispare no more, here are some uses for all you redundant disks.

Do you have any uses other than the ones listed ?

A small fireworks display - place in microwave, label side up, slightly raised for 4 seconds - lovely sparks!(not recomended)

burn them so we don't have any more winters

a toilet seat for a hamster

Pretend you've won an olympic medal

Use them instead of bombs to confuse terrorist countries

fill in the middle and use it as a plate

Use them to irritate the people who send them to you unsolicited by posting them back to them. See how they like to get 50 worthless items a day from the postman.

Need a pizza cutter? Use a CD-ROM!

shingle a small roof

Place under nostrils of inert nerd to check for breath as a sign of life

place between bottom lip and teeth (in sympathy for those dodgy-looking jungle tribesmen...)

Toe tags for mortuaries.

Makes the perfect dance floor for your ant colony.

They make a *dandy* addition to a #$*+&% neighbor's back yard. Better yet, get them to actually install it on their computer.

Put one on a leash and drag it along as you walk...makes the perfect pet.

Kitchen tile for Bill Gates' new mansion

Hidden/spare key holder (crack open 1 side, insert key and then place near door. Completely safe...who would want an AOL disk?)

I use all those ******* Freeserve and AOhell discs as coffee coasters.

I got TONS of 'em.... could probably open a shop selling AOhell, Freeserve and NTL internet services to stupid PC and internet newbies who just buy whatever the sales people in PC World et al tell them to.

Actually, they do make a good clock. One of my workmates bought a clock mechanism and converted a CD into a very nice converstaion piece.

My dad strings them up and hangs them on his fruit trees to scare the birds.
