Hockey Goalkeeper Kit

All the posts related are a little old and don't really answer the question. Does anyone know or any shops that sell hockey goalkeeper kit locally? I don't mind a bit of a drive as it's quite specialist so their will be limited shops selling it.

I've googled but I get no hits for Sheffield at all. All the places I know of only sell sticks.

Where have you tried so far?

I'll ask my wife when she gets in from her match this afternoon - she might have some ideas. She mostly been looking online though, as it's pretty niech.

Definition of local may differ but places within an hour-ish drive of Sheffield that I know of/ recommend are below. I'd suggest calling to check what they have in stock first, as you say 'keeping kit is pretty niche so may not have much in store. Personally I'd much rather see/ try things in the flesh before buying unless they're generic items.

CG Sports in Wakefield. Chicken George used to be a England goalie so I'm sure he'll be able to offer good advice. He's often out and about so if you can't get him on 01924 366956 try 07785114507. He also has access to the Wakefield astro pitches so you can have a decent knock about before you buy anything too.

All Rounder Hockey @ Headingley Stadium have a decent sized showroom although I don't remember seeing any goalie kit on display, but then I wasn't looking for it. 0113 203 3679
