Sheffield Crown Court heard Heeley later told doctors: "I like that I've done it. I just do. I like killing."

 

He was jailed for life with a minimum term of 24-and-a-half years.

Animal, lets hope he never sees a single day of freedom.

Despicable human being, should be left to rot in jail.

Waste of taxpayers' money keeping this vile scumbag housed, fed and watered for 24.5 years. I'd definitely support having the option of capital punishment in (very limited) cases like this where the accused has admitted the murder and not expressed any remorse whatsoever (indeed quite the contrary).

Glad he's locked away for at least 24 years, but there's some shockingly vile views on capital punishment in this thread. Nobody deserves to die and it shouldn't be another man or woman's choice.

Don't play stupid geared. You're better than this.

Clearly the perpetrator of this crime had mental health issues. That doesn't mean somebody should then kill him. It would be wrong on so many levels.
