The government has undertaken an invetigation into how differing ethnicies are treated in various different social aspects, and its shown racism still exists in Britain today.

The figures cover a wide range of lifestyle indicators, including:

 

Black Caribbean pupils are permanently excluded from school three times as often as white British classmates

 

White British pupils on free school meals perform the worst at key stage two, with just 32% reaching the expected level

 

Indian, Pakistani and white people are more likely to own their own homes than black and Bangladeshi individuals

 

Unemployment among black, Asian and minority ethnic people is nearly double that of white Britons

 

Rates of smoking are highest in the mixed and white ethnic groups

 

Just over half of white adults ate five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, compared with a third of black adults

a lot of it comes down to being of a poorer background, hence why white pupils on free school meals suffer at Key stage 2 level.

Remember this was undertaken by the tory party, not some wishy washy leftie liberals.

Also, there was a slightly related article i noticed today, another investigation was undertaken using 2 fake job seekers, and not surprisingly the person with the english sounding name came out of it better than the obvious "muslim" sounding name.

Also sort of related was another news report that sex crimes and domestic abuse, mostly against women are on the rise.

some of its about racism, discrimination, some of its about other things, but they all tie in together, you cant pick out one bit and say its not that because....

at the end of the day its about white male privilege, do white males get chances in life that others do not? or females?

In your example do white males get the chance to eat more fruit and veg? if so, why.

what are the social economic reasons why?

are black males held in poverty more than white males? do black males get more chances to escape poverty? this report says no
